マンボ・ナンバー５！

原曲は1949年に「マンボの王様」キューバのペレス・プラードが発表したインストゥルメンタル曲ですが、今回ご紹介するこの曲は原曲発表から50年後の1999年にドイツのルー・ベガが発表した現代風アレンジ版です。縦ノリの曲調に彼の低い歌声が乗って非常にお洒落な曲に仕上がっているのですが…歌詞の内容は、よく言えばモテ男、正確に言えば世間の女性の敵！みたいな内容で、曲中にたくさんの女性の名前が出てきます。ペレス・プラードも後世にまさかこのような歌詞が付くとは、生前夢にも思わなかったでしょう（笑）
